Very few people are. For many, it's not about being camera shy. It's the feeling of being observed. The fear that the photographs won't feel like them, or that they'll reveal something they'd rather keep hidden.That's exactly why I work the way I do.
These sessions aren't about perfect poses or asking you to perform.They're about making room for you to arrive as you are.We slow everything down. We talk. We walk. We pause. And somewhere in between, the camera becomes the least important part of the experience.
What remains are portraits that feel honest.Images with quietness, character, and presence.Photographs that don't ask you to become someone else, but simply remind you of the person you've always been.

I'm Kofi Oduro, a Ghanaian portrait and documentary photographer based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, creating work across Southeast Asia and wherever meaningful stories take me.
Before photography became my full-time work, I served as a military nurse. That experience taught me to slow down, to observe, and to understand that every person carries a story worth listening to. Those lessons continue to shape the way I photograph today—with patience, curiosity, and genuine care for the people in front of my camera.
My work is for individuals, creatives, professionals, and families who are looking for more than beautiful photographs. It is for those who want to be seen honestly, without performance or pretence. I photograph in natural environments and meaningful spaces, allowing each session to unfold at an unhurried pace, creating room for genuine connection rather than perfect poses.
